1. CENTER OF HEART AND VESSELS

The center of heart and vessels of the International Polyclinic of Rabat is a cardiovascular center specialized in the field of cardiovascular disease; it has innovative and efficient equipment for cardiovascular exploration.
The center also features a unit with a Heart Rhythm Pace Maker implantation center and electrophysiology of the His bundle. The center includes:

 - Operating room for cardiovascular surgery for performing more delicate cardiac surgery:

1. Valve replacements.
2. Plasty.
3. Aorto-coronary bypasses.
4. CABG.
5. Beating heart surgery.
6. Cardiac surgery under video.
7. Surgery of cardiac tumors.
8. Surgery of cardiac congenital malformations of the child

- A resuscitation room of Cardiovascular Surgery.
- Laboratory of Cardiovascular Echo Doppler.
- Stress Test Laboratory.
- Laboratory of continuous records of blood pressure and rhythmic.
- A laboratory of Cardiology and Interventional Radiology with a cardiovascular. catheterization room, allowing diagnostic and interventional evaluations:

- Cardiac Stimulation

1. Electrophysiological exploration of supra-ventricular and ventricular tachycardia.
2. Exploration of cardiac arrhythmias.
3. Placing Pace Maker single chamber, double and triple room.
4. Radio frequency ablation of supraventricular and ventricular tachycardia.

- Realization of cardiac and valve coronarien catheterization:

1. Coronarography and ventriculography.
2. Right and left Catheterization.
3. Catheterization of congenital heart disorders.

- Coronary and peripheral angioplasty:

1. Coronary widening with installation of stent of the coronary arteries (From 1 to 3 vessels).
2. Widening of common origin with installation of stent.
3. Valvular widening (mitral, aortic and pulmonary).
4. Peripheral vascular widening with installation of stent.

- Vascular radiology unit:

1. Arteriography of the members.
2. Cerebral Arteriography and vessels of the neck.
3. Renal Arteriography.
4. Digestive Artériography.
5. Urological Artériography

2. Cancer Center

The International Polyclinic of Rabat is a partner of Al AZHAR Oncology Center that has a technical platform dedicated to the treatment of cancerous tumors through innovative and up to date methods in terms of the treatment with radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

The Oncology Center includes:

Surgery Unit
With four operating rooms equipped for cancer surgery.

Brachytherapy Unit
With seven protected radio guestroom and brachytherapy dosimetry system, low dose rate. After Loading After techniques (or deferred loading) are used to ensure the best conditions for clinical application. For brachytherapy of cervical cancer, Curietheron type devices are used.

External Radiotherapy Unit
- Two linear accelerators of particles (CLINAC CLINAC 600 & 2100). The CLIMAC 2100 is equipped with a multi blade collimator and also the intensity modulated radiotherapy (MRI since 2001).
- A device like cobalt II Alycon.
- A Scanner.
- A modern Dosimetry System (TPS) for image fusion MRI scanner and Pet-Scan scanner.
- Both accelerators are integrated into an imaging system and modern computer.

Chemotherapy Unit
LThe duration of chemotherapy vary from 01 days to 05 days a week, and depends on the type of cancer. The cures are all 03, 04 weeks after a blood test. The average number of treatments and cures is 06.
Chemotherapy can be administered in an outpatient clinic or during hospitalization. The service includes 24 seats for a treatment capacity of 50 patients per day.

Centering-Simulation Unit
With a type of dosimetry system Cad Plan which is a radiation treatment planning system based on CT scan and MRI images made patient treatment position.

Iratherapy Unit
This unit is reserved for the treatment of thyroid tumors.

Outpatient Hospitalization Unit
This unit has three laminar flow hoods for high microbiological safety of chemotherapeutic preparations.


3.THE CENTER OF LITHOTRIPSY

The center is equipped with an apparatus for the fragmentation of kidney and urinary stones through extracorporeal tracts. It is a new electrohydraulic apparatus "Stonclith V5", the latest generation, with double radiological tracking and can be used as ultrasound.
Technically, this apparatus has several and unique strengths:
- A Thompson amplifier who gives a perfect definition of real-time calculation.
- A computer: who can track and record the session of lithotripsy.
- Ellipsoid generating shock waves that rotates 180 degrees around the patient and allows addressing all the locations of calculations.
- An adjustable power of 0-24 kV.
- Adjustable electrodes during processing to allow an increase in efficiency while reducing the pain greatly.
- This apparatus also offers a tremendous advantage in regard to tolerance during treatment. Indeed apart from the child, no patient requires anesthesia. But internal analgesia remains recommended.
