The International Polyclinic of Rabat is a private multidisciplinary clinic, located since 1996 in the heart of the capital of the Kingdom of Morocco.
First and only clinic certified ISO 9001: 2000 in North Africa, thanks to the skill of its doctors and staff and thanks to the high performance of its technical platform facilities the International Polyclinic of Rabat has gain the trust of national patients and those arriving from other countries, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa. It currently manages numerous contracts with multiple national and International insurance companies such as (SOS International, Vanbreda, GMC, Inter Mutual Assistance and Mondial Assistance…); as well as other worldwide renowned organizations such as (OMS, PNUD, UNICED, UEMOA and ASECNA) that it was able to convince of its capacity to offer to their members the medical treatments equivalent to those available to them in Europe or the United States of America

Medical Staff

The International Polyclinic of Rabat benefits from the participation of seventy general practitioners and specialists in multiple specialties in addition to its qualified paramedical staff who watches day and night to the comfort and well-being of patients.
The International Polyclinic of Rabat also benefits from a partnership with the Al Azhar Cancer Center dedicated to the treatment of cancerous tumors with the latest innovative treatments in the field of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and Brachytherapy. The medical and paramedical team of the center is committed to making the conditions of treatment and hospitalization of patients as comfortable as possible.

SEVAMED

In the imminent need to improve its services, organization and therefore it’s medical services and due to African partners requests, the International Polyclinic of Rabat has created a special medical tourism partner SEVAMED in order to undertake the tasks of contracts management, preparatory services, travel and accommodation services, administrative, social and financial assistance, tourism services and finally follow up services enabling it to provide a high quality medical treatments by remaining focused on its main task: which is to ensure  medical services that meet the expectations of its patients and its African an partners.

This challenge of convincing our international partners of the usefulness and effectiveness of this choice was difficult to achieve. We worked hard and managed this succeeded in our vision and we are proud and more determined to redouble efforts to keep up the confidence of our partners
After brilliant secondary studies the founder and CEO Prof. ABDELMAJID SAOURA obtained his Baccalaureate in 1975 and joined the faculty of medicine of Rabat where he obtained his Ph.D. in medicine. He continued his university studies as a medical intern in Hospital University Center Avicenne then as assistant professor at the same institution. He obtained the title of professor assistant in Rabat Faculty of Medicine in 1985. After a specialty degree in obstetrics and gynecology that he obtained in Lille in France in 1988, he decided to open his private cabinet in northern Morocco, where he produced a performance of great renown.

In 1996 he founded the International Polyclinic of Rabat. The creation of this clinic was a turning point in the life of Prof. A. SAOURA. Since its early years, and having a vision to the development of Africa with a firm belief in the value of the South-South cooperation, Prof. ABDELMAJID SAOURA oriented part of its activities to the treatment of medically evacuated Africans who used to go to Europe or the United States of America to get the quality medical care. First, the certification of the International Polyclinic of Rabat 9001version ISO 2000, then the creation of the Africa Department in the Polyclinic which he managed by himself. This activity, which he began in Africa for 20 years ago, has earned a good reputation today in 20 countries in Africa and the signature of fifty international agreement varying between states, public corporations, semi-public or private companies as well as close collaboration with several clinics and medical professionals in these countries of West Africa and Central Africa. Also, to meet the demand and the need felt in other parts of Africa, Prof. A. SAOURA created in 2011 the service medical evacuations SEVAMED allowing it to address English-speaking countries, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Prof. ABDELMAJID SAOURA and his team have traveled all these countries to meet the health actors of Africans and looking for ways to strengthen internal African cooperation. Thus, he conducted several training missions, awareness against deadly diseases in Africa, a multitude of humanitarian actions in cooperation with the competent authorities of these countries.

Also, as an incentive for more close relationships between the African populations, he has continued to sponsor all the cultural activities of the students and African trainees in Morocco.

Prof. A. SAOURA was received while traveling by several senior officials of these countries, including heads of state and government, ministers, presidents of National Assembly and other dignitaries.

Prof. A. SAOURA was also received by the commission of WAEMU donors who had supported in 2007, the project to create a multidisciplinary clinic in Mali international dimensions.

Prof. A. SAOURA in its communication policy has involved the International Polyclinic of Rabat several times in international fairs in 2015, including the Forum AFRISANTE 2015 and MEDICAL EXPO 2015.

Prof. A. SAOURA was elected in medical expo in 2015 among the personalities of the year that marked the evolution of the health sector in Morocco.
